In recent years, it has become undeniably clear that the systems meant to serve the people of this nation are broken. Across every walk of life, Americans are struggling to make their voices heard. Workers, parents, teachers, students, healthcare professionals, and everyday citizens are united in frustration over a government that too often prioritizes profits and power over people.

This is our Declaration:

We, the people of the United States, in search of a more perfect union, stand together to address the Congress, the courts, and the executive branch. Let it be known that we demand representation of the people, by the people, and for the people. We demand that our rights and freedoms take precedence over the profits of big money. We demand a free system where our lawmakers are not bought and paid for, where federal judges answer only to the law and not to corporations, men, or outside entities.

We demand governance that reflects the will of the people, one that ensures our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We reject the lies of American exceptionalism and the divisive propaganda we were fed as children. We demand to build a nation that is truly great, not by hollow rhetoric, but by ensuring justice, equity, and opportunity for all.

We are not fooled by the distractions. For too long, social issues have been weaponized to divide us while the real injustices remain untouched. But we see through the circus act. We will no longer accept inaction on the real challenges we face.

We have a dream for the future of our children—a future where they can afford to feed their families, where medical care is centered on people’s needs, not corporate profits; where they can learn and thrive without fear of violence in their classrooms. A future where we prioritize the health of our planet so that generations to come have clean air, safe water, and a sustainable world. We dream of a country where workers are paid what they are worth, where housing is a human right, and where no one is left behind.

We, the people, know this dream is achievable. We have seen how we can rise when we come together. We are more educated, more connected, and more aware than any generation before us. We understand who has held power for decades and how it has been used against us. And we say: Enough.

To those who stand in the way of progress—those who profit from division and stagnation—we say this: You can help us build this future, or you can step aside. But know this: We, the people, are awake. We are organized. And we will not stop until the promise of this nation is fulfilled—not just for some, but for all.

I didn’t set out to become the face of this, but in posting a simple message—a declaration of our frustrations and our hopes for the future—I found that I am not alone. Within hours, thousands of people resonated with these words. They spoke of their own struggles, hopes, and frustrations with the status quo.

Why This Matters:  This isn’t just about one issue—it’s about all of them. It’s about ensuring that our government reflects the will of its people, that lawmakers act on behalf of their constituents instead of corporate donors, and that we build a nation rooted in justice, equity, and opportunity.

This is a call to action for anyone who feels unheard. For those who work hard and still can’t make ends meet. For parents who fear for their children’s safety in schools. For workers who are underpaid and overworked. For communities who are being crushed under the weight of housing costs, environmental degradation, and failing infrastructure.

We demand reform that:

- Ends corporate influence in politics and restores integrity to our democratic process.
- Protects unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
- Creates policies that prioritize people and the planet over profits.
- Centers equity, justice, and opportunity for every citizen, regardless of background.

We are calling on lawmakers, judges, and leaders at every level to hear us. This petition is a declaration of our collective will, and we demand action.
