To all our supporters of this petition,

After years of advocacy and more than 64,000 signatures, we are humbly declaring victory on this petition.

Our goal was to restore Philippine History as a dedicated subject in secondary education. With the nationwide implementation of "Pag-aaral ng Kasaysayan at Lipunang Pilipino" in Senior High School, that goal has finally been achieved.

We extend our gratitude to every teacher, academic (historian), student, parent, school leader, DepEd / government official, and concerned citizen who supported this campaign. This achievement belongs to all of you.

At the same time, we recognize that the work is far from over. Including Philippine History in the curriculum is one thing; ensuring that it is taught accurately, meaningfully, and truthfully is another. Marami pang kailangang gawin

The years ahead will require quality learning resources, more books and instructional materials, teacher training opportunities, scholarly research, and meaningful learning experiences for students. We must also remain vigilant in protecting Philippine History education from distortion, disinformation, and future neglect.  We also seek to promote the integration of local history into our national history to give ALL FILIPINOS a voice.

For this reason, we celebrate this milestone with gratitude and humility. While this petition may soon come to a close, our commitment to Philippine History education continues.

The hard work has just begun.

Maraming salamat po.
