Every day, countless international students like me come to Norway with big dreams, hoping to learn, grow, and one day make a positive impact in thepetition world. We left behind our homes, families, and comfort to chase knowledge. But the language barrier doesn’t just slow us down — it threatens to silence our potential. We aren’t failing because we lack intelligence or ideas; we’re failing because we’re judged by how well we speak a language that isn’t ours yet. This isn’t just a struggle; it’s a heartbreak that steals our confidence and dims our hopes. How many brilliant minds feel unseen, unheard, and misunderstood, simply because they can’t express themselves perfectly in a foreign language?

What is at stake?
