For anyone planning to go to Monday’s community consultation (4pm–8pm) about the proposed development on Honeypot Lane, please use this session purely as a fact-finding opportunity.

You can arrive at any time between 4pm and 8pm — there’s no need for everyone to go at once. We’ve heard that the developers will be seeing residents individually or in small groups. If everyone turns up at the same time, it could cause long queues and mean fewer people get to properly ask their questions.

So instead, please use the session to gather information — ask about the plans, access, drainage, traffic, biodiversity, and how they intend to justify building on Green Belt land. Take notes, listen carefully, and remember — this is just the first stage.

We’ve been advised not to show our cards just yet. Once the formal planning application is submitted, that will be our time to respond in full and make our opposition clear.

Let’s stay calm, stay coordinated, and make sure we get every detail we need. 💪
