Tonight, we’ve been out leafleting around Honeypot Lane to raise awareness of the proposed housing development. Many residents may not have seen the consultation letter, as it was simply addressed to “the occupier” and looked very similar to regular junk mail that comes through our doors.

Every single signature on the petition helps show the Council that we, the residents, do not want new housing built on our Green Belt land.

We’ve now reached just over 700 signatures, which is an incredible response — far more than we ever imagined. Thank you to everyone who’s signed, shared, and supported so far. 🙏

📬 We’ll continue leafleting over the coming days around Honeypot Lane and The Homesteads, as these areas will also be directly impacted — especially where gardens back onto the proposed site.
