To David Production and the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime team,

We, the fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, are writing this petition with one simple but heartfelt request:
Please cast Yasuyuki Kase as the voice of Funny Valentine in the upcoming Steel Ball Run anime.

This isn’t just a random wish. Yasuyuki Kase has already brought Valentine to life in All-Star Battle, Eyes of Heaven, and All-Star Battle R. He knows this character deeply. On top of that, he is no stranger to the JJBA anime universe itself, having already lent his voice to Hasekura Mikitaka in the anime adaptation (Part 4 : Diamond is Unbreakable). We KNOW Steel Ball Run will be peak anyway, but this would truly bring the cherry on top.

Funny Valentine is truly one of the best villains in JJBA. He deserves a voice that matches his weight. Yasuyuki Kase doesn’t just match it.. he is him, throughout the games, and the edits.

We understand that anime casting doesn’t always follow what the games have established, and that David Production makes its own choices. We respect that. But sometimes, the perfect actor is already right there. This is one of those times. And there is precedent for it : just as Kenta Miyake, who voiced our beautiful Mohammed Avdol, is returning to the JJBA anime to voice Steven Steel in Steel Ball Run, Yasuyuki Kase deserves the same opportunity to carry his iconic role from the games into the anime, and give Valentine the voice he has always deserved.
