We as american citizens need to remove the “Mexico City Rule” because it was expanded and reinstated by the trump administration by an executive order. “The Mexico City Rule” states that any NGO that advocates for abortion/pro choice or gender affirming care will get no funding. This rule will harm the nation greatly by cutting off some NGO’s such as JOGAKBO, Planned Parenthood, International Campaign for Women's Right to Safe Abortion, Reproductive Freedom for All, ACLU, Advocates For Youth, Marie Stopes International, GATE, and Outright International.

 This will lead to less understanding about HIV/AIDS and gender affirming care, increase the population of unwanted babies, harm international relations, increase the suicide rate, take away advocates for LGBTQIA+ and women's rights. The executive order extends to the US and in other countries and will eventually lead to people not having reproductive rights or gender affirming care anymore.

I'm petitioning in order to email congress to stop this rule that is trying to target certain demographics.
