🚨Having a wee rant! 🚨

 You know i have spent over 3 years fighting, giving up my own time, constantly being triggered by loss, to getting dedicated babyloss rooms into Maternity hospitals.

  For these past 3 years I have struggled to get 1 celebrity or influencer to help me! Gosh knows i have spent hours and hours tagging, hashtagging & pleading to help my campaign go viral! I'm sorry I'm not a celebrity or an influencer with thousands and thousands of followers! 

   You know what really makes me mad, these celebrities and influencers will have there publicist create a post, or contact journalists and the media. because of status that person will get All the glory and satisfaction and that Dopamine hit of likes, comments, shares, money , and gratitude.. 

   There publicist & Managers will help them become ambassadors or leaders to baby loss , and here me just a mammy from Eastkilbride , cannot get the publicity i need, all because I'm basically Nothing!

And here we have normal women who suffer losses who can't afford to hire out a full hospital wing, or can't afford private midwifes to come out to their homes, and they don't get paid for our stories , because we don't sell news like celebrities and influencers do! 

“The public need people with realistic experiences to represent them in order to see meaningful change. How can someone who used a private hospital and has unlimited funds for retreats and counselling represent someone who isn’t in the public eye. This is why I am trying to get these rooms. It’s to benefit ordinary women’

   Celebrities have the right to grieve like any of us but they can’t represent the Lou’s, Sharon’s, etc

  They should seek out people who can.
