Firstly thank you so much for all the support & to everyone who has shared my petition!
Things are going really well, Beatrice Wishart Liberal Democrats has taken my Campaign to Scottish Parliament! Sadly the motion wasnt passed! I was disappointed that Maree Todd SNP was speaking on her motion for Womens health but didnt mention my Campaign! How much more womens health do you need??? I dis email Maree Todd weeks ago and i have heard nothing back! This is disappointing!
As everyone knows Liberal Democrats has had my Campaign in there Manifesto for weeks and weeks , recently thanks to a women commenting on a post of mine let me into a little secret!! A secret I didnt believe until I seen it!!
What was the secret ??
SNP sneakily put my Campaign into there Manifesto (page 24) I will include Screenshots!
Unlike the Liberal Democrats who was open and Told people my Campaign Was in there Manifesto, SNP have said nothing, not one person actually new! I contacted Msps from SNP who clearly knew nothing of this! And most of the Msps from SNP havent replied back to me to respond!
Now that my Campaign IS IN there Manifesto (page 24) in holding them accountable! I recently done an interview with A newspaper and Msp Collette Stevenson and the spokespersons state facilities will be put in place.
A Scottish Government spokesman added: "We are committed to establishing a dignified, compassionate miscarriage service tailored to the needs of women.
"The aim is to support the development of individualised care plans after a woman’s first miscarriage and ensure maternity departments have dedicated facilities for women who are experiencing unexpected pregnancy complications."
SNP MSP, Collette Stevenson, said: "I understand the Scottish Government are actively developing plans to ensure dedicated units are available for women who experience unexpected pregnancy complications.
"Since last week’s debate in Parliament, I have written to the Minister for Public Health to ask when these facilities will be available and if the Scottish Government will open any consultations or facilitate discussions with women who have experienced miscarriage. It’s really important we get this right and prioritise the issues which Louise has raised."
