Thank you for signing the petition (we have 663 signatures so far but would like to reach 1,000) - please do share it as much as you can. We have sent out a number of letters to influencers and decision makers. The response from the latter has been quite lukewarm, although the landscape architect for the scheme has agreed to come for a site visit. It's becoming clear that we as residents really do need to let the City know we are prepared to properly challenge them, that we will fight hard to keep our trees AND for further harm reducing conditions that should be attached to the full planning permission when it is finally granted - which is imminent. A group of Golden Lane residents have formed FANS of Golden Lane and are seeking legal advice so that we can be very clear as to our best options, what battles we can win against the mammoth which is the City (the main developer). They launched a Crowd Justice page earlier this week to raise funds - if you can pledge support then please do. No amount is too small - in fact 100 people pledging £10 each has more impact than 10 pledging £100.
