I, like many others, face daily overcrowding on the Selwyn 545 school bus due to our growing school roll and increased reliance on this route. While other Selwyn buses, such as the 546 and 547, have multiple buses, the 545 remains limited to just one, leading to daily overcrowding both to and from school each day. This is more than an inconvenience; it is a serious and pertinent health and safety concern.

We must address this issue to ensure all 545 commuters have a safe and reliable journey to and from school, by asking for a second 545 bus. This is necessary for student comfort, safety, and punctuality, and by signing this petition, you’re advocating for a safer, more accessible commute for Selwyn College students on the 545 bus.
