Just thought I would up-date folks about the shelter.  Not much going on.  They received their amazing donation last October.  And that seems to be that. 

"The New Animal Shelter for Uxbridge-Scugog has been making strides! Here are some recent updates:

Major Donation: The Estate of Marilyn Ruth Rennie generously donated $1,100,674 to the shelter, bringing the total funds available for the project to over $2.8 million

Celebrity Server Event: The Uxbridge Chamber of Commerce partnered with the shelter for their annual Celebrity Server night at Boston Pizza, Uxbridge3. It’s heartwarming to see the community come together to support our furry friends.

Adoptions: The shelter continues its mission to find homes for all animals in its care. If you’re looking to adopt, check out the Scugog Animal Control Centre at 1360 Reach Street, Port Perry, ON4."
