I am Sardinian, and my girlfriend is Dutch. Her parents and children live in the Netherlands, and we would love to visit them more often.
Unfortunately, travelling between Sardinia and the northern Netherlands can be expensive and complicated, especially in winter. This route could benefit Sardinians, Dutch residents, families, couples and tourists travelling in both directions. Even a regular seasonal service, with consideration for winter connections, would make a real difference.

A direct flight between Cagliari and Groningen would do more than connect two airports. It would bring families closer together.
