Peckham won - but the fight continues!

Peckham won a famous victory!
In May the Planning Inspector found in favour of the community and Council, and rejected Berkeley Homes' greedy and inappropriate plans for our town centre. Our strength has sent a message loud and clear: communities count and have power!
But now, Berkeley Homes are going to the High Court to try to overturn the ruling. This is a landmark struggle that has implications for ALL councils and developers. We want to see affordable housing built on the site and a development that will complement and not dominate our town centre.
We have come so far and this has only been possible with your support. Now we need your help one more time. We need to raise an extra £5,000 to cover our costs for the new court case and to stay involved in the action. Every donation, big or small is a huge help and a huge NO to Berkeley Homes. And they hear it!

To participate in the Planning Inquiry we managed to raise over £50,000 so we know we can do this. We are incredibly grateful to all the people, businesses and organisations that supported us. With your help WE WILL WIN AGAIN!
