Dear Secretary of State

I wrote to you on 12th July 2024 (emailed letter) with a summary of the #EnergyFraud campaign that seeks to hold to account energy companies and their regulator, Ofgem, for the concealment of IT bugs and data integrity issues within consumer billing systems (since at least 2017), and the unlawful pursuit of payment of debt that the energy companies knew not to be owed. My letter specifically focused on the catastrophic impact of this unlawful activity on vulnerable and disabled energy consumers.

My letter also included a request for me to provide you with a briefing on the scale of the issue and the likelihood of the criminal fraud, PCJ, and harassment being similar but on a much larger scale than that of the Post Office scandal.

I received an automated acknowledgment to my emailed letter but, despite prompts, have received no formal response from you or your department.

Please provide sight of records related to my correspondence, to include any relevant logs, decisions, and audit trail, as well as related enquiries made with third parties.
