Today, we are faced with a heartbreaking reality. Once again, an Indian student's life has been tragically cut short in America. This is not just one more loss; it's one too many. The safety of Indian students studying abroad has become a pressing concern that demands immediate attention and action. The fear and anxiety among students of Indian origin, their parents and families back home are palpable. They need reassurance that their loved ones are safe and secure while pursuing their dreams far from home.

We urgently call upon Shri Jaishankar, Honorable Minister of External Affairs, the Government of India and the Honorable Ambassador of the Indian Embassy in Washington D.C., to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of our students. It is their sworn duty to protect our children studying overseas. We demand transparency about what steps are being taken by these authorities to prevent such incidents from recurring.

We urge an independent investigation led by the FBI into these horrific Student deaths charged as Hate crimes against Asian Americans with a sharp rise in violence, Anti-Asian Bias, Discrimination, hostilities and Hate.

There is a whopping sevenfold increase in reports of anti-Asian harassment, discrimination, and violence. It is crucial to note that hate crimes and bias incidents have been found to be vastly under-reported so these numbers only reflect reported incidents.

Asian adults were more likely than any other racial or ethnic groups to have changed their daily routines due to safety concerns that they might be threatened or attacked. 32% of Asian adults say they personally know an Asian person in the U.S. who has been threatened or attacked because of their race or ethnicity.

We seek answers on behalf of every parent who sends their child thousands of miles away with hope, dreams and promise for the future in their hearts. This petition is not just a plea; it's a demand for change—a change that will make America safer for our students who go there with dreams as vast as the sky itself.

Please sign this petition today! Let us unite our voices until they're heard by those responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of Indian students in America.

We Demand #Justice for the Sudden Deaths of Indian Student and a thorough, impartial and timely investigation resulting in swift justice and convictions to the guilty. And, We Request you to Join us in our plea for justice and safety within the Universities & Communities in the United States.

These alarming events are not an isolated case but part of an alarming trend. As a grieving community deeply affected by recent act of violence and deaths of Indian origin Students, we are petitioning to demand justice, create a robust safety, and support system for redressal. We wholly believe that violence is never a solution; it only brings more pain and suffering. We stand with grieving families during this difficult time and demand justice for all involved parties. We also call upon local authorities to take immediate action against school violence.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, during 2017–18, about 962,300 violent incidents occurred in U.S schools nationwide (source: NCES). This highlights how urgent it is to address this issue.

It is a tragic anytime our children are hurt. Violence in the community is a serious issue for which we all need to take ownership and work towards a resolution for the sake of our children. The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation offers our sincerest condolences to everyone involved, and will offer additional emotional support from our support and crisis team to those in need. We look forward to continuing to partner with our community for the sake of our children. Please be kind and respectful of the families involved during this difficult time and pledge to help work toward the betterment of our entire community.
