Stop the Colonization of African American Communities

Stop the Colonization of African American Communities
The Issue
The definition of "colonialism" is a "system of political government or extension of territory, by which one nation exerts political control over another nation, territory, or people, maintaining the colony in a state of dependence, its inhabitants not having the same full rights as those of the colonial power. The controlling power is typically extended thus by military force or the threat of force."
Africans in America first became victims of colonialism when we were stolen from our civilizations in Africa, and taken to the United States to be forced to work for the enrichment of a nation that was not our own. The economy of the United States has been propelled by our exploitation ever since.
Today, our people are still colonized. Black men are 6 times more likely to be incarcerated than White men. Black children are twice as likely to be in foster care. American schools are still separate and unequal for Black children. Black men are 2.5 more likely to be killed by the police. African Americans own only 1/10 of the wealth that Whites own. We are still controlled by White society. We are still their slaves.
We Charge Colonialism (WCC) is going to the United Nations to demand an end to the colonial relationship, and demand internal-self determination; that is the right to self-govern our communities.
How can you help?
Please, if you are an African American, sign the petition, and join in our demand that the colonial relationship between African Americans and the United States must end. We need your help to garner enough signatures to make a serious claim to governing bodies.
