We won!

Sorry this is late but my father died in the middle of negotiations. As you may be aware we had great news about Glen Iosal and we won our fight to maintain the provision of care for the residents there. Thanks must go to the wonderful steering group who made this happen: to all those who took this petition door to door and to all those who wrote letters and came to meetings and protests. Thanks also goes to the HSCP, Trusthousing, Mary Jean Devon and Mike Russell. It was a great feeling handing over a hard copy of over a thousand signatures to the head of Trusthousing. But the biggest thanks of all goes to you for signing this petition. Never underestimate the power we have when we band together to fight injustice. Thank you so much for all your wonderful support.
