On June 22 at the Southwest Fire District’s Station #1 (7001 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809)! The WBC wants to give a huge “Thank You!” to everyone who contributed! “This would not have been possible without the community partnerships and the leadership of the Southwest Fire District. They offered the use of their property, they completed the electrical connections at their expense, they will pay the monthly electric bill, and they will be our contact for the monthly test and ongoing maintenance when needed. The Southwest Fire District has a long and storied history serving Waynedale residents, just like the businesses who stepped-up to help fund this siren. The Waynedale area is strong because of this purposeful dedication and pride in your community.
