The PM has discussed a timeframe for possible easing of restrictions and we need to be part of the discussion on a local and state government level. As I write the petition sits at 866 signatures. Tomorrow I will contact Waverley and Randwick City Councils to discuss presenting the petition to them officially and when that can happen. I would like to take the weekend to make one final push to kick us over the 1000 signatures mark.
As the discussion starts on how to manage easing of restrictions we want our voice to be heard. Please continue to share the petition and discuss how councils might manage safe access so that when the petitions are presented we can be ready with suggestions. Once I know when the petitions can be read into council proceedings I will ask you to write with your suggestions if you wish.
