The Bilberry Goats Heritage Trust are asking for your support for Protection Status for the Bilberry Goats.
The goat's Habitat is inadequate and our local Council want to remove them from the cliffs of Bilberry to a remote area with no grazing rights, inadequate shelter and inadequate nutrients for their sustainability. This is being done so that their original Habitat along the banks of the River Suir in Bilberry is reserved for development. The Council are anti-natural environment and pro-development, to the cost of the natural world. They will not be satisified until they see a Concrete Jungle in place of the former Habitat of the Bilberry Goats. The Trust say there should be room for all the inhabitants of Bilberry, Waterford. The Bilberry goats were here before all of us were born, as they traversed the land that sustained them through the centuries. Bilberry has acid soil vegetation that sustained the goats down through the years and made them the 'unique' breed and the only one of its kind in Europe/World. Please sign Petition and share as many times as you can. The people must save this 'unique' breed of Bilberry goats. The Trust are asking for your help.
