Hi folks

You may be aware of a recent announcement by Panda to an increase in charges of 3.80 per lift for the brown bin adding a significant increase to annual waste bills and resulting in a deterrent to use the compost bin.

Panda is the main, if not the only, waste collection provider in most of Skerries and Balbriggan.

When I moved to Skerries I contacted other providers and was told Panda was the only  option available. The other operators said that if there was interest from other residents they would consider proving a service in this area.
 
This petition is looking to see if there is an appetite from residents in the area to change providers, if there was an alternative provider in the area. And while this would be a business decision for providers I am hopeful the petition can demonstrate the interest to them.ill bring the results of the petition to other providers should there be interest to do this.
