I am writing to share an important update— not from Washington State, but Illinois. The text of House Bill 2032 inspired Senator David Koehler of Illinois, and a similar bill (SB 1782) has been introduced to the Illinois legislature. Recently, the bill unanimously passed the Senate, so it is now on its way to the House.
