Weld County Sheriff's narrative that Kaysey purposely abandoned her four children, her entire family & friends with no explanation because she "wanted to" is honestly disrespectful. She was in a mental health crisis. She left with very few personal items. Anyone who knows Kaysey knows that she has a tendency to over-pack & to be overly prepared. She left with one small backpack she used as a purse with one change of pants. She intended to come home. Her belongings were suspiciously found on the side of the road. What situation would cause a person to toss their backpack, including their wallet, with their identification on the ground? It doesn't add up. People don't discard important things on the ground for no apparent reason. It is dishonest to exclude important facts from the announcement to push a specific agenda. It is significant that she was having a mental health crisis. It is significant that her things were found on the ground. It is significant that she has a significant balance yet her money remains untouched. It is significant that there is no sign of her being alive. Those of us who love Kaysey are demanding answers. We will not accept this narrative that she "left because she wanted to." Unless there is evidence that Kaysey is alive & well, we are expecting answers. Starting with her phone records.
