Hogwarts Legacy needs to be published for Nintendo Switch!

Hogwarts Legacy will be published in 2022 and will be available on PS4, PS5, XBox One & Xbox Series X. However, it is not planned to also be available on Nintendo Switch! Hearing this disappointed us immensely so we want to change that!

The Nintendo Switch is an amazing gaming console which has gained a lot of popularity, especially during the pandemic! Hogwarts Legacy would be a perfect addition to the game range of Nintendo and would definitely find great interest with the target audience of  Nintendo! The Nintendo switch is desined to be a family console and what screams family more than the Wizarding World people have grown up with for decades? Nintendo has had Harry Potter games for Nintendo DS, Wii, and Wii U. Therefore it is only logical to have Hogwarts Legacy for the Switch as well!

The Nintendo Switch finally posed a fresh take on portable gaming as well as hybrid gaming. We saw this as great sign of new innovation and rethinking of gaming. However, if big games like these, which not only excite video game fans but also all other fans of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World, are not published for the only modern portable gaming console on the market: The Nintendo Switch, it will greatly lose value in the eyes of the audience. 

Not publishing this game for the Switch also shines a bad light on Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche. The Nintendo Switch is a big player among the gaming consoles even in spite of or rather especially because of its slightly different nature from classic gaming consoles! Not supporting all platforms makes the game seem less big, less important, less desirable, and less high-quality. The fandom has already been disappointed by postponing the release by a year! This faux-pas could easily be solved by using this time to expand the availability of the game for all fans by also publishing it for the Nintendo Switch! Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche should not disappoint the fandom further by gatekeeping this game from Nintendo Switch users!

We therefore ask Warner Brothers, Avalanche and Nintendo to work together and make this game available for Nintendo Switch as well!
