We will forever be grateful to both Warner and CBS for giving The Mentalist the beautiful series finale it deserved, but it wasn't without a fight that we got these 7 seasons.

And having to fight for our show - with solid good ratings - to stay on air was not our only problem.

For seven years we felt like The Mentalist, and us as fans, were being disrespected by the constant air date changes and neglected by the lack of good merchandising and promotional material. 

What bother us the most and until this day is the quality of the DVD sets for the series. With an indifferent design that doesn't really offer any advantage over online/streaming services and more importantly, the absence of bonus material.

We don't have episodes with commentary track by the cast/writers. We know for a fact that some of the deleted scenes never made it to the bonus features. And only season one has, the fan favorite, bloopers.

For season 7, we expected a really good interview -maybe featuring fan questions- with the cast about, not only the end of the series, but also the huge event that was Jane and Lisbon being featured as a couple, something the fans longed for 7 years. We did got an interview, a very short one, the same one that was used to promote the series finale, nothing new there.    

Warner Bros. is a huge entertainment company, they are always dealing with fan bases and those are the same people who consume their products, hence why we believe WB understand why this is so important for us, fans. 

Even one year after the series has ended, we're still talking about it, making fanarts and discussing storylines. We passionately love and miss the cast, the characters and we're deeply invested in the story. After so much dedication we truly believe we deserve everything our favorite show has to offer.

In resume all we're asking is a Special Edition box-set with all the bonus we can have. All the deleted scenes, bloopers from all the seasons and any special feature WB can offer. We understand that the cast have move on to other projects but any word from them would be great.

We also understand that releasing the scripts for the public is not such a common thing to do, but the ones from season 1 were released to us so we'd like to ask for the ones from season 2 to 7 as well, if possible.
