Why the drug driving laws are unlawful and grossly unfair. There is no evidence to suggest that cannabis even affects our ability to drive. The government and authorities allege cannabis is unsafe to drive whilst in our system trying to base it on alcohol DUI laws with no evidence or scientific research to support thier claims. As thier are no ways off testing for impairment the zero tolerance appoarch was set in place, violating our rights and freedom. I do not condone DUI driving on any substances that impair your ability to drive. I am here because of the relavant drug driving laws. Cannabis (THC) when consumed gets stored in body fat and depending on your body build, quantity you consume, quality of cannabis and how often you consume can have major different results when come to road side drug testing. So someone who never has cannabis only smoked one joint at a party 6 hours ago could pass a road side lick test, as someone who smokes everynight for pain relieve such as myself could fail even after 16 hours from last cosuming cannabis. I believe this is unfair and unjust they do not test for plenty of other subtances that could impair your ability to operate a motorvehicle. Im sure someone using a mobile phone would have a slower reaction time than me even after just smoking. (and no i do not drug drive) they are profiling and discrimanting a select few in the community, which therefore they crimalize us and throw us with grossy unfair fines and lisence loss. Which leads to hardship due to loss of lisence, unable to get to work, support family, even pay mortgages and bills. Its time Australia stands up and knows the truth cannabis saves lifes and our opinions, laws and policies must change on cannabis. Help legalise cannabis. Feel free to share ��
