Dear CleanAppers,

Thank you for your energy and your support as we continue our campaign.  We recently crossed the 250 supporter milestone, and we are now at 255.  We are working hard every day on social media to reach every potential supporter, but it's tough breaking through the chatter.

That's why when we see encouraging news like this (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cleanapp-mk/id1391651882?mt=8 it's so exciting. So recently, Makedonski Telekom (the largest telecom company in Macedonia) launched a CleanApp that allows users to report litter/hazards. That's one small step for Macedonian Telecom, and one giant step towards GoogleCleanApp!

We've been to Macedonia. It's a beautiful country. But its beauty is often marred by litter, which dots the landscape and corrodes our relationship with our lived environment.  So a tool that will allow municipalities, nonprofits, and private waste management companies to keep Macedonia cleaner is a great step forward. 

But Macedonia has a population of 2 million, half the population of Los Angeles.  Google has a "population" of 2 billion, and a reach that's even greater. 

That's why OUR petition to get Google to activate trash/hazard reporting is so important.  Please share this news with your loved ones who may be following climate change stories and getting depressed out of their minds. There are concrete steps that you can take to #ActOnClimate, and petitions like ours, tools like ours, agendas like ours, are proven mechanisms of cleaning our planet. 

If trash tracking can be done in the UK, and Macedonia, and Canada, and Brazil, then it can be done by Google at global scales.
