Bob has worked at  Streetsboro Walmart for about 5 years as a greeter and customer host. Always happy, smiling and laughing, customers looked forward to seeing him as they entered and exited the store. Bob was not only a greeter, though; he was a thorough worker, diligently scanning all unbagged items and matching items up with customer receipts.

I noticed Bob's absence last week, but waited a few days, thinking that he may have been on vacation. Worried about his well being, I posted my concern on a social media platform only to find out that Bob was put on an unpaid leave because, after 5 years, Walmart has determined that Bob cannot perform the functions of his greeter job.  Bob ALWAYS did his job and he did it well, with enough cheer to light up your darkest day.  He was able to comfort sad children, direct customers to find products in the store, and make your whole shopping experience nothing less than delightful. Bob was one of the greatest assets for Streetsboro Walmart; the happiness that he brought to all of us customers is something that no amount of money can buy and we want him back.
