Thank you for participating in the Giant Boycott! Who's ready for a re-do in October?

Dear Friends:

I have no hard data - but I did drive through the Giant parking lot several times last week and it seemed like there were fewer shoppers.

No worries, though - I am sure that Giant has years of data on post-Labor Day sales, and I am sure that our boycott was successful.  I have heard from many of you that you took the boycott seriously, as did I.

Now, please return to Giant and tell the store manager, Lina Sopiene, that you participated in the boycott last week and you're ready to boycott in October if you don't see any improvement in the parking plans for the new shopping center.

Regency's responses to the planners' comments are expected this week - so we shall know fairly soon whether parking plans have improved.

I'll keep you posted about an October Boycott!
