We had a dream...

With a massive wave of public support from you beautiful people (1,006 and counting signatures) and getting Leicester uber-celebrity chef Rustie Lee on board, our campaign for a potato-based honour for Leicester’s favourite adopted son swung into action. After a targeted press campaign (a half page article in the Leicester Mercury) plus a huge amount of coverage in the nationals, we received an amazing phone call from Walkers. The crisps were to be made, 45,000 packets of the beauties. Victory was ours. We had secured our place in history, we (all of us) are the Rosa Parks of the crisp world. The only recognition we look for, is the acknowledgement that we made this happen for Football, for England, for Leicester, for Jamie! Paddy Power You're Welcome
