The Issue

The Virginia Board of Elections and the Virginia Supreme Court have failed the citizens of Virginia. They have allowed deceitful language to be presented on the April 21, 2026, election ballot and within campaign advertisements, betraying the public trust and undermining the democratic process.

It's a betrayal of the public's trust when electoral processes are drenched in calculated ambiguity designed to manipulate results rather than reflect the people's choice.

Redistricting should be an exercise in fairness and equality, yet the language used fails these principles. The misleading wording can have real and damaging effects on communities, pushing them into districts that do not represent their needs or voices.

We demand that the Virginia Board of Elections and the Virginia Supreme Court take immediate steps to rectify this issue. They must ensure that future ballots and campaign materials provide clear, accurate, and unbiased information to voters.

Ensuring that all election-related documents use straightforward and honest language is paramount to preserving the integrity of our elections. The people of Virginia deserve better.

Our demand is simple: honest and clear communication for all voters in Virginia to make informed choices about their representation.

Sign this petition to hold the Virginia Board of Elections and the Virginia Supreme Court accountable.
