
Please contact your local leaders via email and phone. Please ask them to Stop the Ban and work with local businesses owners and residence that use these products to eliminate the deadly habit of traditional tobacco products.
1. Restrict sales to only 21 and older retail locations. (No more gas stations, 7 Eleven, etc.)
2. Ban online sales into our community. (Other communities have done this These are tobacco products and should be banned from online sales accordingly. )
3. Utilize license fees to fund more enforcement of existing tobacco laws. Enact additional performance based restrictions and increase penalties for those who violate established laws.
4. Utilize responsible retailers to identify bad actors. Also restrict marketing of retailers in the community. No social media presence, No visible advertisement of flavors that could be seen outside of the establishment. No print publications or youth oriented marketing in our county or cities within the county.
We feel our request is reasonable. We feel it addresses the concern of youth access and use and yet leaves safe and local access to these products.
