Repeatedly, Jonathan Gullis is using his platform to push lies and division whilst he holds the position of Mayor of Kidsgrove.

His actions have repeatedly broken Principles 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 of the Seven Principles of Public Life

Recently Jonathan Gullis could be seen on ITV's GMB: Jonathan Gullis lying pushing fake news, that members of the UN and UNWRA distributing aid were members of Hamas however, this claim is false  in reality multiple organisations such as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and reputable UK news orgs have been unable to confirm any aspect of this conspiracy theory pushed by Mr Gullis has any basis in reality.

In that very same segment on GMB he also denied that their is famine in Gaza and pushed another mumbo jumbo conspiracy theory that Hamas is blocking food, when in actuality it is Israel that is deliberately restricting humanitarian aid to Gaza which Amnesty International has described as "deliberate starvation" and "potentially a war crime".

Jonathan Gullis has repeatedly exhibited behavior unbecoming the office of Mayor. "The Mayor is the first citizen of the Town. In their Civic Role the Mayor meets with individuals and communities to honour them for the contribution to the life of the town and to promote civic pride." Kidsgroves definition of Mayor it doesn't paint Kidsgrove in a positive light when the ambassador for the town is making ridiculous and false claims in an aggressive and combative manner on a national level.
