When I first heard about the mini-primary, I loved the idea. In the last day or so, I have had a change of mind. I now think Kamala Harris is the best candidate to go forward. Kamala Harris is already on the ticket that won the primaries. Kamala Harris is the sitting Vice President. If Pres. Biden decides not to run, this is the simplest and most logical way forward. Every other option with only a month before the Convention will likely be a mess and disaster. Also, this was what Pres. Biden talked about doing 4 years ago. A mini-primary is a great hypothetical idea but not given all the current variables. Thank you to each of you who signed the petition and are engaged in this process!
