The countdown to the #WorldCupofPeace has begun

Dear friends, Thank you. When you are so far away from your home and family it's easy to feel alone. It's easy to feel that no one hears or cares about our suffering. But as we've watched your voices join our call over the last few days, we've known you stand with us in this fight. And with that knowledge comes hope; a hope that one day soon we might play football in the fields and stadiums of a just, free and peaceful Syria. We are so grateful that you've added your voices to our call for a World Cup of Peace. Now, we're hoping you'll continue to amplify our call. Today marks one month until the start of the World Cup. To mark the countdown, our friends at WeExist!, a coalition of Syrian organisations, have launched a video calling for this year's tournament to be a #WorldCupofPeace.
