UTZ bought Vitner’s in 2021 and everything has gone downhill for all of us Chicagoans that love Hot Crunchy Curls and Hot Cheese Twists. On August 2022 and even some time before that, customers started reporting low or no inventory of Vitner’s Hot Crunchy Curls. Even before that Vitner’s stopped making Vitner’s Sizzlin Hot Cheese Balls which were my third favorite flavor. In 2010s the ultra hot flavor Chicagoans loved was tamed but even then the chips were still good. Now UTZ and Vitner’s have changed the recipe for these iconic chips. They now taste salty and terrible! We are creating this petition to request that UTZ and Vitner’s bring back the OG flavor from the 2010s or that they at least revert to the flavor that was just changed. We are also requesting that UTZ and Vitner’s bring back the Vitner’s Sizzlin Hot Cheese Balls, Vitner’s nuggets and all items that were discontinued.
