Dear Behaviour Interactive,

I am making this petition as a Resident Evil fan, as a Dead by Daylight player, but also on behalf of the Dead by Daylight community to request a visual rework for the legendary skin and iconic character Chris Redfield.

We understand the continuous efforts of your team to improve the experience of your players as well as the hard work and dedication of your various teams.

We also understand the limitations of such actions related to licensed content within your game, but in this regard, is it very apparent and obvious that Resident Evil as a franchise occupies an important spot within the world of Dead by Daylight.

Two chapters, six characters alongside many legendary skins and its own map being added into the game was a great way to celebrate such an iconic and classic series of video games and depicts a very healthy and positive cooperative relationship between Behaviour Interactive and Capcom as companies.

As players, we took notice that the newer characters and skins related to Resident Evil that were released alongside Project: W have genuine and faithful designs. You have managed to also improve Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield visually, making them furthermore like their Resident Evil counterparts. It reflects major improvement as well as feedback taken into consideration.

However, what is also very apparent is that Chris Redfield has been left out. There have been no change to Chris Redfield's design ever since his initial release back in 2021. He is wearing the S.T.A.R.S. Outfit from the original Resident Evil, yet his visual design attempts to resemble his appearance from Resident Evil 5, but misses the mark.
 
Chris Redfield's visual appearance does not feel like his Resident Evil counterpart, and his design philosophy is confused. While our favorite boulder-puncher did not receive the love a major licensed character would deserve, the original character Felix Richter got his own B.S.A.A. Uniform, before the man himself.

We therefore ask through this petition that Chris Redfield obtains a visual rework. Naturally, here are some suggestions:

- Fix Chris' face in order to make him look more like his Resident Evil 5 counterpart, also known as his most iconic and beloved look
- Replace the S.T.A.R.S. Outfit with a B.S.A.A. One. It will both make his look more faithful as well as making more sense since Wesker and Sheva were added to the game.
- Fix some of his physical flaws. Give our favorite hero some more needed muscles!
- As a less preferable option, if you want to stick to the S.T.A.R.S. design, then he will need some major rework for him to look like in Resident Evil Remake. Make him look his age!


We hope that this petition will bring the needed changes and love that such an iconic and legendary character as Chris Redfield from Resident Evil always deserved.
