I created this petition to let Visalia Unified School District know that it's community members support Black Lives Matter because we support BIPOC lives.

Community members, including Tulare County Office of Education employees, have been removing BLM signs from the fence outside of El Diamante High School in Visalia. As community members continue to put up signs in solidarity of BLM and the fight against racial injustice, other community members continue to tear them down.

Visalia Unified School District sided with the racist community members, issuing a statement that the signs will be permanently removed and no longer allowed outside of school campuses. This is a clear statement against BIPOC students and their families. 

Let's let VUSD know that their actions are wrong and that this community does NOT support white supremacy in our schools. This is not a time to be "political." We need our schools to declare that BIPOC lives matter!
