10th Warrington Scout Group are really pleased to be in the final stage of an application for a substantial grant to help replace our ageing facilities.  We now need to demonstrate community support for the project and are asking friends and neighbours to add their details to this register.

We are an entirely volunteer led group that has served the community and provided skills for life to the young people of Great Sankey since 1927.  We have a wonderful timber scout hut, but the kitchen and toilet facilities are housed in an ageing portacabin which is coming to the end of its useful life and is not accessible for all abilities.  We have gained planning permission for a purpose built, permanent and accessible extension that will secure the future of scouting in Great Sankey for many years to come.  We have been raising funds through various events and initiatives, but a grant from Viridor Credits would give us a real boost to reach our target.
