Over 380 million single-use plastic straws are used every day, and plastic is not biodegradable. We need to take action and stop using plastic straws, and help save the ocean. If straws are recycled, there is only a small portion that can be recycled, while the rest of the straws and single-use plastic go to landfills (and eventually get on the beach). This trash also causes death of sea animals, because it breaks down into small pieces, and gets eaten by sea animals. Sign this petition and spread the word, no more plastic straws!
