Alfonso Lopez not elected to any leadership positions YET.

Hi folks,

Thanks for signing my petition in opposition to Alfonso Lopez in our house leadership.

I haven't followed up with more information yet because it isn't easy to follow this process as an outsider as i have had several conversations with delegates that offered varying details. I am not even sure they know everything so i don't feel insulted or anything.

I sent facebook messages to many democratic delegates with my Letter to the Editor about Alfonso but he hasn't run or been elected to any leadership positions or selected to chair any committees. You can read about it on bluevirginia.us.

This feels like a partial victory but i guess Majority Whip and maybe some other roles haven't been announced. At this point it would mostly be in the hands of Speaker Filler-Corn and Majority Leader Herring so feel free to call or email them here with your feedback:

I am not sure this issue is worth a huge public campaign but I would hate for a known bully like Alfonso Lopez to be given the job of whipping votes for the House Democrats.
