More Rhetoric From Victoria Police While Violent Crime Soars

Here we go again, Victoria Police putting out more rhetoric about targeting gangs by collating intelligence (help if there was some there to collate) and drawing maps and putting pins on a board.  We've heard it all before and the rate of violent crime continues to climb.  Let's see real results bought about by some grass roots policing, boots on the ground.

By the mere fact that Victoria Police feel the need release these grandiose media statements which rarely amount to anything is testimont to the fact that they know only to well that reducing crime is largely the organisation's primary objective and responsibility.
