The United States Women's National Soccer team just won the World Cup! This incredible feat could not have been accomplished without Rockville Centre's own Crystal Dunn.

Dunn starred at South Side High School and helped lead the Lady Cyclones to State Championships in 2006, 2007 and 2009, and now, she was central to Team USA's triumph at the 2019 World Cup, never coming off the field in the six games she played, logging 90 minutes against Thailand (13-0 win on June 11th), Sweden (2-0 win on June 20th), Spain (2-1 win on June 24th) and host France (2-1 win on June 28th). She played all 95 minutes in the championship game win over Netherlands, nearly scoring a goal from left back! Thanks in part to Crystal's ability in defense, Team USA allowed only three goals in seven games.
