The (CCLG) Citizens Council of La Grange’s first meeting of the new session will be a frank discussion of the Village Liquor Laws. Our recent online petition has generated a new conversation and built momentum around the possibility of revising the La Grange liquor ordinance to allow for a brewery, distillery, tasting rooms, wine bars, etc. On September 9th, after the formalities of a brief Council meeting, the discussion of the Liquor Laws will commence with a baseline from the Village. After speaker presentations they will open it up to audience Q&A starting with questions submitted by members of the Council. The meeting will be held on September 9th, 7:30pm at the Village Hall, 2nd floor. The event is free and open to the public.
