Here’s what Anmore Residents are talking about;

Been a resident of Anmore for 27 years, lots has changed since then, Leave it rural the way it should stay!

I think a referendum is only fair. It enables the citizens of Anmore to have a voice in Anmore’s future, which they should have had from the start.

Please keep Anmore just the way it is. Rural and wild.
The residents are speaking clearly about what they want. Time for council to listen.
No Anmore south.

The forest in and around Anmore must be protected at all cost. Council needs to stop looking at increased density development. There are better locations for this closer to mass transit. Any development needs to be very carefully designed to protect existing wetland and wildlife corridors such as Mossom creek. Protection of trees and all feeder creeks also need full protection.

Keep Anmore semi rural.

Urban is not a good idea for our unique community and to subject our neighbours to added traffic congestion and noise pollution is selfish.
Sufficient options currently exist to diversify our population.
Nonsense to improving our tax base as density requires more revenue than what it takes in.

Anmore is beautiful the way it is. Natures home and place to go to get away from it all! This is something special let’s not spoil it. If people want urban Port Moody is only a short drive away.

Urbanization is rampant throughout the Lower Mainland and Tri-Cities. Local governments and planners are giving little thought to their unstoppable quest for increased density and the impacts to our environment and quality of life.
The Village of Anmore has escaped big development for 34 years since incorporation. Let's keep our Village a little less busy and greener for at least another 34 years.
Say no to changing the rural designation of Anmore South.
