Help bring Victoria's Secret back to Bangor, ME!
In August of 2020, Victoria’s Secret in the Bangor Mall closed their doors due to lease negotiations despite goal smashing performance in the previous years. The Bangor location not only served the citizens of the greater Bangor area, but also many Canadians and international travelers who loved the store as well. Since the store’s departure, these customers have been forced to shop online, travel to Portland (or beyond), or choose other retailers to fit their needs. This results in fewer sales for the company and less satisfied customers.
With the current re-branding of the company, Victoria’s Secret has made many changes that customers in this area are not able to experience firsthand. One of the most exciting changes is the willingness to pilot off-mall locations in order to maximize traffic, profits, and customer experience in new locations. Bangor is the perfect market for one of these new off-mall locations! Not only do we have the existing customer base, but also a great new market opportunity with the large number of new residents we have due to the booming housing market in our area. Over the past year, Bangor has become one of the top 20 emerging housing markets as many out-of-staters have flocked to our beautiful state!
Both the community and the company would benefit greatly in the Bangor area. Sign this petition to show them what they are missing and fight to be one of these new off-mall locations!
