Hi all, I just wanted to reach out to let you know we’ve just passed 2,083 signatures on our petition!

Please see updates below from Vic Roads

  • Consultation with key stakeholders and community on the Nepean Highway and Forest Drive intersection upgrade will begin in the following months.
  • Investigations are continuing for the Nepean Highway and Uralla Road intersection upgrade project.

There’s also another project on Nepean Highway in Mount Martha that may be of interest.

  • As part of the Victorian and Australian Government’s joint funded Pedestrian and Safer Schools Initiative, we will be introducing a new 40km/h school speed zone on Nepean Highway in Mount Martha near Cumberland Drive. This new school speed zone will make it safer for school kids, parents, and teachers traveling to and from Balcombe Grammar during school drop-off times (8 am – 9:30 am) and pick-up times (2:30 pm – 4 pm). To help ensure the speed change is clearly visible to drivers, we will be installing two new electronic speed limit signs.
  • Signage installation works are expected to start in early August, weather permitting.

Will you help me to get more support by sharing this petition with ten other people? If enough of us sign we can’t be ignored! Here’s a link to share https://www.change.org/p/vicroads-make-the-nepean-highway-in-mt-martha-safer
