Extension to the deadline and pensions stall

Dear all, Thank you again for signing the petition. As you know pressure from the unions resulted in a weeks extension to the consultation. This means that we will be handing the petition in this Friday. We know this matters a lot to you. Please could you do one more thing. Talk to a colleague and ask them if they've signed the petition (either on-line or in paper form). Explain why it is so important to you (and them) to defend our pensions. Ask them if they will sign the petition to pressure the University to properly consult the unions and to re-consider the other options that they have not shared with us. UNISON will be holding a pensions stall on Wednesday if people have any worries or questions about what this means for them. Please come along and say hello and suggest to colleagues that they check it out as well. We will have chocolate!
