In February 2019 the much loved browser based strategy game The Godfather: Five Families closed. Only weeks before several Facebook posts were promoting "exciting news" and a plan to upgrade servers, RockYou announced the closure of The Godfather: Five Families. Players were given 5 days notice. 

Rock you filed for bankruptcy in 2019 but the game was on Facebook. If Facebook could acquire the game and enable players to return during this time both would benefit.

Many dedicated players invested much time and money into this game and wish for it to return. While other MMO games such as Club Penguin have reopened because of the global pandemic COVID-19 we hope this will be the same for The Godfather: Five Families.
